1 No purchase is necessary to enter a Byblos Resort & Casino E-Escape contest, we welcome all aficionados of Costa Rica.
2 All contestants must completely fill out our contest eligibility form, including valid contact information to include phone, fax, email, as well as a current mailing address that matches a valid passport, drivers license or other similar photo ID. This shall serve for verification purposes only to avoid multiple applications by the same individual or household. All personal privacy practices will be honored.
3 All contestants must be at least 18 years old to be eligible to participate in contests that include hotel/motel accommodations, motor vehicles, boats, and/or air travel as prizes.
4 One entry per household will be permitted to participate in the E-Escape contest. A "household" is defined as any individuals residing at the same address. After winning a Byblos Resort E-Escape contest, the individual/household is ineligible to win any other contests for a period of one year. If it is determined that a selected contestant is ineligible as a result of these restrictions, another contestant will be selected. This selection procedure will continue until these restrictions are satisfied.
5 Winners of Byblos Resort E-Escape contests agree to allow Byblos Resort to use their name and limited private information for announcements, press releases and further marketing purposes, including any promotional photos.
6 All E-Escape contests require a written entry form via our website to be considered valid. All entries information becomes property of Byblos Resort & Casino and will Byblos reserves the right to retain any or all contest materials for any reason that it deems necessary to the completion of the contest, or reasons relating to publicity and/or advertising. Byblos Resort shall have no responsibility for a contestant's failure to win or claim any prize based on difficulties with telephone, facsimile, email, or internet difficulties, or any circumstances in any contest.
7 Prize winners will be announced by June 1st of each year and have 30 days to acknowledge their winning status by contacting the hotel and supplying Byblos with a valid photo ID. Failure to claim their prize by the deadline of July 1st of each year will result in the forfeiture of the prize, which shall remain the property of Byblos Resort & Casino who assumes no liability for the successful delivery of any prizes.
8 As a condition of entering a contest, contestants must agree that upon winning, they will consent to the use of their name, likeness, and all verbal and written communications with Byblos Resort & Casino for publicity purposes.
9 Employees or friends and family of Byblos Resort & Casino are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
10 All prizes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash. Byblos Resort reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar value in the event that is cannot fully provide the specified prize details. Byblos Resort cannot be held responsible for unforeseen cancellations or delays of specific services or transportation caused by weather, government unrest, or futher unforeseen circumstances.
11 The following are specifically related to E-contests and E-Escape promotions with Byblos Resort & Casino:
a All appropriate information in required fields must be filled out or contestants will be disqualified.
b To be eligible to win a prize, a contestant is not limited to where he/she lives.
c Any problems with the internet or email are not Byblos Resort's responsibility.
d Contestants who attempt to register to participate in a Byblos E-Escape Contest may be required to produce a photo ID that validates the address with which they entered the contest before receiving any prizes.
12 All giveaways and contests are void where prohibited by law. All local, state and federal regulations apply. Byblos Resort reserves the right to interrupt and/or discontinue any contest or promotion (and not award the offered prize) at the discretion of Byblos management if world events, the national mood, or public safety so warrant. Byblos reserves the right to disqualify any winner if the contest rules have been violated in any way. Byblos reserves the right to amend the rules to any contest at any time should it deem necessary. All decisions of Byblos Resort & Casino are final.
13 All prizes are subject to availability of all included services and cannot be combined with other offers.
14 Although Byblos Resort will make reasonable efforts to conduct its contests as announced or advertised, Byblos Resort reserves the right in extraordinary situations to change or modify the rules of its contests as exigent circumstances may require. In such case, the contest will be conducted in accordance with the amended rules.
